Javier Bardem & Daniel Craig.
Bond is back and better than ever! Of course, any Bond film would be better than the previous disappointment, Quantum of Solace. Fortunately, Skyfall rescues what could have been a horrible downfall for the franchise. Daniel Craig is back in his third outing as everybody’s favorite secret agent in the 23rd film of the Bond series. Director Sam Mendes, as well as writers Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and John Logan, have breathed new life into the franchise; they’ve definitely upped the stakes without creating a scenario that seemed outlandish or unbelievable.
One of the best parts of the film was Javier Bardem’s villain Raoul Silva. While he didn’t have teeth made of steel or cry blood, his “villainesque deformity”… (Click title above to continue reading)

Skyfall (2012)
James Bond: Everyone needs a hobby…
Raoul Silva: So what’s yours?
James Bond: Resurrection.
There’s no stopping the anticipation for Skyfall, the 23rd film in the James Bond franchise, as the reactions from early screenings only confirm that the film deserves all the hype. As Skyfall slams into theaters November 9th, 2012, critics are raving — this is the best we’ve seen Bond, and Daniel Craig gives us everything he’s got and then some.
Caressing of the chest? Doing whatever it takes? Sounds a bit steamy.
There’s been speculation, or hopes and wishes at least, that Bond’s sexuality isn’t as black and white as it so seems. But that’s not the case. Bond’s definitely straight. But there’s a scene between him and villain Silva (Javier Bardem) that has many in talks.
Movieline writer Frank Digiacomo caught an early screening of Skyfall, and noted a scene where Silva ever so slightly caresses the chest of the bound up Bond. And in response to such actions, Bond replies, ”What makes you think this is my first time?”.. (Click title above to continue reading
The song is simply titled “Skyfall,” but don’t let its mere obviousness fool you. After months of speculation, the new theme song for Bond’s next adventure, Skyfall, hit the net today.
Featuring the lucid yet smokey vocals of pop-singer Adele, the track combines the classic with the modern. It’s crazy to think the eight-time Grammy Award winner had doubts about recording the song with composer Thomas Newman. But Adele overcame the pressure, stepped into the studio, and gave it her all. The result? A smooth, beautiful, and quite lyrical tune that bleeds passion… (Click Title Above to Continue Reading)
For any singer, recording the theme song to a James Bond film is an honor. Back in 1967, Nancy Sinatra crooned her way through a sultry “You Only Live Twice.” In 1977, Carley Simon sang “Nobody Does It Better” for The Spy Who Loved Me. And Shirley Bassey’s “Diamonds are Forever,” is perhaps considered the most popular Bond theme song. In 2009, Jay-Z and Kanye West released their rendition of Bassey’s classic song titled “Diamonds from Sierra Leone”.
Everything’s set in place for Skyfall’s November 9th release. There’s Daniel Craig, amazing action and locations, new vehicles, and the Bond women played by Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris. The last piece of the puzzle remains the song — a signature end to every great Bond film. In the perfect scenario, Adele will indeed belt her way through the next James Bond theme song in Skyfall… (click title above to continue reading)
‘Skyfall’ Teaser Trailer Debuts
James Bond fans woke up to a treat this morning: Sony has released the first teaser trailer for Sam Mendes’s Skyfall.
At close to a minute and a half long, the trailer starts off a little slow with some dialogue exchange (a word association game) then picks up speed like a de-railing train…
‘Skyfall’: Daniel Craig’s James Bond Goes Classic in New Poster
The official 007 blog released the first teaser poster for Skyfall, which features Craig motionless in what appears at first glance to be the barrel of a gun, paying tribute to the Bond films of the past. But on closer evaluation, the “barrel” also gives hint to an underground drainage tunnel. Also notice that Bond isn’t pointing his gun, instead he’s front and center, as if he’s the bullet in mid fire. The black and white composition gives the poster a very clean and stylistic feel…
