Coldplay & Sigur Rós Lead the ‘Life of Pi’ International Trailer

There’s a new film on the horizon, looking to make a huge splash at this year’s 50th New York Film Festival. With director Ang Lee’s name attached to such a visually beautiful film, one can only hope Life of Piwill be one of the best films of the year. Adapted from author Yann Martel’s Booker Prize winning novel of the same title, the story’s got heart, adventure, and a lot of passion — the perfect combination for success.

A new international trailer for Life of Pi hit the web today. It’s our second look at the Ang Lee film, which tells the story of Piscine Molitor Patel (Suraj Sharma), better known as Pi —  a young Indian boy who finds himself on a small lifeboat with a formidable beast after his ship to Canada sinks. For months, he must survive and find the strength and hope to stay alive despite his dwindling spirit and strength.
